Panic! on the Disco is a pop rock/electronica band established out of Las Vegas, Nevada. The band is constituted of Brendon Urie (vocals, guitar, keyboard) and his youth buddy, Spencer Smiths (drums), consisting of their schoolmate, Ryan Ross (guitar, keyboard, backing vocals).
To promote their track, the band made contact with Pete Wentz (of Fall Out Boy) using his LiveJournal website. Impressed by the band, Wentz individually met with the band and signed them to his imprint label Decaydance. Under the label, the band launched their debut album, A Fever You Cant Sweat Out, which would debut at #112 on the Billboard two hundred album charts.
To date, the bands 2005 debut album, A Fever you Cant Sweat Out has bought over 750,000 units. The band is at present headlining a North American summer season tour with The Dresden Dolls and The Hush Sound, a band additionally signed to Decaydance.
